COLORZOOM (6)

Color, as perceived by a non-human or a technical apparatus.

The following series of photographic images document chromatic flicker animations not as they are perceived by the human eye, but as they are perceived by the camera and its associated image processing algorithms. The images reveal the perceptual biases of the camera, analogical to the quirks and slippages of human vision, as well as the technical residue of digital projection and the limitations of refresh rate.
